Construction Helper / Crew Member

Location: Weyauwega, Wisconsin
Pay: $17–$28/hour (based on experience and skills)

About Us

We’re a family-run company with a strong reputation for quality work, integrity, and customer service. While spray foam insulation is our specialty, our crew takes on a wide variety of projects — from steel siding on residential homes to commercial renovation work across Wisconsin. Every day looks different here, and we value people who are versatile, reliable, and willing to take ownership of their work.

The Role

This position is hands-on, fast-paced, and best suited for someone with construction experience who wants to expand their skills. You’ll work directly alongside the owner and foreman, assisting with:

  • Spray foam insulation installation

  • Framing, finish work, and light carpentry

  • Specialty projects in residential, farm, and commercial settings (steel siding, remodels, etc.)

  • Routine shop and equipment maintenance (trucks, trailers, tools, equipment)

  • General jobsite and shop support, from hauling materials to groundskeeping to organizing storage containers

This is not a “one-task job.” You may be on scaffolding one day, reorganizing bulky items in storage the next, and helping complete a full remodel the day after. Flexibility, organization, and pride in doing good work — no matter the task — are essential.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Prior construction experience required; 2+ years preferred. Familiarity with building science, insulation, spray equipment (foam or spray paint), siding, finish trim, or cabinetry installation is a strong plus.

  • Skills: Confident with a tape measure and power tools, able to calculate square footage, and complete work efficiently with attention to detail.

  • Physical Ability: Lift and carry 50+ lbs, safely work on ladders/scaffolds, handle hot/cold weather, work in small attic/crawlspace conditions, and wear respirator masks as needed.

  • Dependability: Show up ready to work, adapt to schedule changes, think constructively, and follow directions carefully.

  • Other Requirements:

    • Valid driver’s license

    • Ability to drive forward and reverse, and carefully park a truck with a large trailer (avoiding low branches, tight corners, etc.)

    • Willingness to travel occasionally (overnight stays are limited)

    • Comfortable working in tight spaces or at heights

    • Basic English skills (all nationalities encouraged to apply)

What We Provide

  • Competitive pay ($17–$28/hour depending on qualifications)

  • Consistent year-round work, 32–40 hours/week

  • Flexibility for family life with reasonable prior notice

  • On-the-job training for specialty skills

  • Bonuses and performance incentives

  • Some meals covered on long workdays

  • Most nights home by 5:00 pm; weekends rare (extra incentive if they occur)

  • A family-oriented company that values long-term team members
